JBS Haldane Lecture 2014 – Armand Leroi

The Genetics Society is pleased to announce that the 2014 JBS Haldane Lecture is awarded to Armand Leroi, professor of evolutionary developmental biology at Imperial College, London.

Professor Leroi works on the genetic regulation of growth and metabolism  in worms, transmissible cancers and cultural evolution. He is also known for his TV series for BBC and C4 on developmental genetics, Mutants (2004). His latest book, The Lagoon, on how Aristotle invented science, was published in 2014.
