The journal Heredity is the official publication of The Genetics Society. We produce a newsletter twice a year. Income received from the journal Genes and Development funds the Summer studentships.

Genetics Unzipped Podcasts

Full and student members are entitled to reduced subscriptions to both Heredity and Genes and Development.

Associated journals that also offer a discounted subscription to Genetics Society members include: Genetics Research, published by Cambridge University Press, Trends in Genetics, a monthly journal published by Elsevier with review articles of topical interest aimed at the general reader, Nature Genetics, published by Nature Publishing company (MacMillan Magazines Limited), Current Biology journals, BioEssays and Chromosome Research.

The Genetics Society is delighted to offer its members a 30% discount on genetics related titles published by The MIT Press.  The MIT Press is the only university press in the United States whose list is based in science and technology and it publishes about 200 new books a year and over 30 journals. The code MGS30 can be used more than once, on multiple titles and for both print and e-editions where available.

The Genetics Society produces the Genetics Unzipped podcast and also the Heredity Podcasts, featuring recently published papers in our journal.
