General Information

Meeting background

This international conference will bring together leading experts to foster dynamic discussions on the latest breakthroughs in epigenetics. It will cover mechanisms of epigenetic regulation across various fields and explore how these mechanisms are deregulated in disease states. The Epigenetics-2025 conference will also provide a platform for early-career and senior scientists to collaborate, exchange ideas, and present their most recent scientific findings. The conference will be organized into the following sessions:

  1. Epigenetic Mechanisms 1: cis-regulatory elements
  2. Epigenetic Mechanisms 2: Chromatin repression
  3. Epigenetic Mechanisms 3: 3D genome organization
  4. Epigenetic flow of information 1: Stem cells and early embryo
  5. Epigenetic flow of information 2: Immune cells
  6. Epigenetic dysregulation in disease 1: Complex diseases
  7. Epigenetic dysregulation in disease 2: Cancer epigenomics

Delegates will have the opportunity to visit historical attractions in Belfast, such as the Titanic Museum, as well as other notable sites in Northern Ireland, including the Giant’s Causeway (not included in the conference cost).

The deadline for abstract submission is midnight 26th January 2025, and a decision will be made by 3rd February 2025. You can also download the abstract submission form in advance.

Cost

When booking, there will be the option to book as a Genetics Society member or non-member, as student, with or without accommodation, or as a virtual attendee. Please note that registration rates do not include the Gala dinner, this must be added on during booking. Early bird rates will be available until 23rd February 2025, when new rates will be released, including virtual attendance. Bookings will close on 23rd March 2025.
