International Mendel’s Day
As part of The Genetics Society Centenary celebrations, we teamed up with the Mendelanium, a museum dedicated to the work of “the father of genetics”, Mendel, to host the International Mendel Day for the first time in the UK.
Friday 8th March was also International Women’s Day and therefore at the Royal Institution, London, we presented a programme dedicated to Mendel and women in Genetics:
