General Information

This one day course will examine the relevance of genetic test results for management of oncology patients and demonstrate how this testing is being increasingly integrated into routine cancer care in the oncology clinics.

The learning objectives of the course are an appreciation of the contribution of genetics results for planning treatment, prognostic indicators, assessing future cancer risk and planning long term cancer surveillance for the patient and their relatives; and to understand the routine use of genetic testing.

The course will cover colorectal, breast, gynaecological, endocrine and renal cancer cases.
